The Song of Slaanesh: Part II
A slow month means not much progress has been made on the army and one of the series rules has already been broken, such is the power of Chaos.
It’s been a pretty slow couple of weeks here on Scorched Archive and an even slower couple of weeks for my army. I have been spending most of my time working on another one of my websites but now that re-design is out of the way I will be able to devote much more of my time to this site and putting my army together.
This Months Purchase
| Qty | Item | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 1× | Chaos Space Marines - Emperors Children (8 Models) | £18.00 |
| 1× | Space Marines Tactical Squad (10 Models) | £18.00 |
| Total: | £36.00 |
This is the first month of spending to budget, and I have already broken the rules, as you know my budget for each month is £35 which means I went £1 pound over, meaning I will only be able to spend £34 pound next time. Don’t worry though, I have given myself a slap on the wrist, and it shan’t happen again!
I decided to pick up the tactical squad in order to add some variation to my vanilla squads. I have already decided on 2 themes which I want to stick to whilst I build up the army, these are:
- Every model will wear a helmet, no flesh on show here
- No “Pointy Bits” on the helmets
I think it’s a good idea to come up with small themes like this in order to give your army a much more personal touch and add some character to the force, I will work these elements into the army fluff when I get round to writing it.
Current Work Space
I will leave you with a shot of the current state of my work station, as you can see I have started to put together my first squad of six models, though at the moment only one chap is ready for under coating.
